I just wired up my Gauntlet Dark Legacy board to output line level stereo to the amp and stereo speakers in my Blast City cabinet. I wanted to archive the pinout since I couldn't find it anywhere.
If you use the left and right speaker connections on the JAMMA header it outputs amped audio which just produces static when I ran it through the amp in my cabinet. You can buy cheap devices that take amped audio and output line level, but I wanted to find another way.
There's a connector labeled P5 on the corner of the I/O board near the two audio amps. It has the words 'SND LINE OUT' screened in front of it on the board.
By testing the pins, this is what I came up with:
Pin1 - Left Positive
Pin2 - Left Negative
Pin3 - Unknown
Pin4 - Key
Pin5 - Right Positive
Pin6 - Right Negative
I wired a .100 connector for the board to an RCA cable. I got a little hum but it's only noticable when the game is silent, which is hardly ever.
