Gauntlet 2 Player

damn that thing is cherry!

Isn't Gauntlet the one that's next to impossible to beat with less than 3 players in the arcade? (correct me if i'm wrong).

I saw that cab a couple weeks ago when I was picking up some other games.

Looks awesome.

Same cab as Rolling Thunder I think? Looks very cool tho...

Yea I've seen it at Scott's as well. It was the first time I've seen a two player version. It is different. I didn't see it on but I want to say it was clean looking.

The two player take up less room the Rom set allows you to choose which players.
The one I have does not have the Atari joyksticks. Someday it might..

Excuse the horrible picture. low light and Ipads just do not work very well..

I see the cpo and marquee have yellowed. Nice game though, it's just that typical yellowing like I always see on 720. The 2-player looks nice, but I'd want the 4. I NEVER seen Gauntlets around here, never have except for a converted to MK1 that a roommate had.

i have one of these i bought cheap off a friend ($100) working but semi-beat. they just aren't popular since if you're going to bother having a Gauntlet you ought to have the 4 player version which is where it sorta gets fun. 2 players is mostly "eh." right now it's at my wife's work in the breakroom where the employees get to play it for free and i get free storage, totally win-win, since i can't find a local buyer who'll give me my $100 back.

having played the 2 player and 4 player versions recently i opted to buy a Gauntlet: Dark Legacy as my keeper. the original was cool at the time but doesn't hold up as all that interesting.

Yes I agree the 4-player version is an easier sell, even the newer Gauntlet legends is an easier sell. If you have the original Atari joysticks, disco monitor and a working board set you can easily get your $100 back. I would buy the game from you for $150 if you were local to me sight unseen if all original parts are there.

Any game where you life decreases over time even if you don't get hit sucks IMHO. I never cared for Gauntlet for this reason.
Yeah. I have converted Gauntlet boards into multi Gauntlets where you can choose between G1 and G2 with a flick of the switch.

Those didn't move either.
