Gauging Interest- Williams Cocktail/ Cabaret Joystick Assemblies

I removed my cabaret joystick assembly from my cab today. See attached pics below. Since its such a half ass design, I will go down to a machine shop that I have had excellent work done in the past and see if I can have them reproduce this piece. Basically the only piece left that would need replacing would be the joystick with shaft. This piece is the same for both the cocktail units and the cabaret units. My assembly piece is soo loose and poorly designed that I have had enough with it and must get something designed better or worst case new. I will also see if they can repro the sticks too.

See pics below:

Anyone have interest cause if there is enough then I will start to get the ball rolling on production ASAP. Maybe sell them for $25-$50 each. Not too sure as of yet as it all depends on demand and what the shop will charge to mass produce these. I am heading down to the shop later today to speak with them on this. More orders means lower pricing ! :D

I need to know who is in for this assembly

Hell yes, count me in. I need a couple for the Joust cocktail rebuilt I am doing. One of the old ones is almost unusable as it is rusted to shit. I think the only difference I see between the one you have and what is on the Joust cocktail is the 90deg bent mounting tab. I don't think those are present on the cocktail version, but would be easy to cut off. The rest looks the same though. Let me know.

I'll see what it will cost me to reproduce in the next hour. That said send me a few pics so I can see what the differences are from your part and mine. My part was pulled from a stargate cabaret unit. It mounts to the underside of the cp with the 4 screw holes. The bend underneath is to mount the leaf switch contacts. You know the 2" metal contacts that when touch complete the circuit.

I went to verify and they do have the 90deg bend. Guess all the rust masked my brain. And that they fall apart upon disassembly as I don't think there is too much metal left. The joystick assemblies are just as shown in your above post for the Joust cocktail.

Great thanks for the input.

Update: I stopped by the machine shop earlier and they said that they can reproduce it all - however they will get back in touch with me with the pricing. Also I might go with the balltops that screw on- gotta see what the difference in cost will be. I'll keep in touch on this project !

Subscribing.
I've emailed Takeman about reproing these. I plan to send him the one stick I have later this week or early next week so he can determine if he can get it done.
