Gauging interest on new product. Nintendo audio amp

I just completed building up a few prototypes and everything checks out good. Im looking for a show of hands from serious buyers to see what kind of market there is for these. Anyways, here are a couple pictures of the board to check out. As you can see the heatsinks are improved over the originals (mostly due to the fact that the original type is not available). Some components have been moved around to make room for the larger heatsinks but other than that its true to the original part. Estimated retail price is $40. Let me know what you guys think.

AWESOME job! Wow, minty fresh.

How often are these broken/missing? Every time I've run across a monitor that's been sick, rebuilding the audio amp with a kit seemed to fix the sound right away.

What kind of price point are we talking here? Will it make recapping the old audio boards not worth it any more?

What about the wawawawawa sound, will that still come through on the DK cabs?

I tested them in my DK Jr and VS cab and it sounds just like the original. There is a slight hum if you put your ear up to the speaker. The same hum exists with the original amps in place. I have not tested it with a DK but it should behave just as the original amp does since its essentially the same.

Nobody interested in these?

Usually the "gauging interest threads" are placed in the general arcade discussion forum. I don't think many people come to the repair forums unless they have a problem. Why not have a moderator move the thread and see if you get more interest in the general forum?

These look great! I'd definitely buy one if i had a classic Nintendo game but unfortunately I don't (only really have plans for one and it's not a must have).
