Agreed. I know the kits that are still out there can sell for a good price because they aren't easy to find, but I would think the price for new kits would be considerably less than that. I'm definitely interested in one as well.

Edit: I did a quick Google search and found a post from October of 08 that gave a price of $185 for the kit and a t-shirt.

Yea, I'm in for one, too. My new place has room for a couple of more uprights, and Qbert is definitely a game I'm now looking for so the timing to make more of these is great!
