Gauging Interest - Battlezone cabaret cardboard monitor surround

I am currently working on reproducing the cardboard monitor surround for the Battlezone cabaret cabinet. Although the (original) art may exist out there, I have broken one down, scanned it in, and have a professional graphic artist/coworker redrawing and vectorizing it. He thought this seemed easy..maybe he should be working on playfields!

My motivation is to get one reproduced for my personal project. Although not all of the details have been ironed out, I hope to get this printed on a material close to the original piece. Although this guy actually does his own screenprinting work, it's likely it will be done inkjet on a card stock, unless that's not satisfactory.

How many people would be interested in this, if we can get this close to the factory piece? I don't have a price in mind, but it would be in line with the other repro guys and I'd post a ton of detailed info before taking any payment. No ETA, but the art file is nearly finished.

I know of at least once BZ cabaret that needs this due to it's being damaged.

They're fragile, due to the cut outs, and tend to yellow. The guy working on it is correcting the yellowing from the sample and it's looking really good.

Vector files and original shipping to Rich early next week. I will then know something soon after. We should be able to get these made soon and I should have pricing soon. Thanks.

Funny. I happen to have a Battlezone mini in my collection, just a few miles away from you. Mine doesn't need a new monitor bezel, however...

Ive got the files and original to coor match to.
This one does not appear to be UV Blacklight colors.
will proably be a vinyl print youll need to apply to a new cardboard bezel.

still need to try a couple of materials to be sure.
as I dont think I can get a matching cardstock for the printwer since these will be inkjetted.
but on the plus side they are not very large so price will be on the cheap.
Ill be sure to post progress/updates as soon as I can start test prints.

No, but I thought that was attached to the tube.

I need to look again, but I'm almost positive it's attached to the cardboard bezel. guess a guy could transfer it or make a new one. (if necessary) shouldn't be too hard.

I would grab one to help make this happen.

It's going to happen, as I paid a guy to vectorize the artwork, and I provided the files and that sample bezel to Rich. As far as it being a perfect reproduction of the original, that was never my guarantee, I just wanted to get something, as close as possible, made for my project. The artwork is bang on, but getting it printed on the cardboard type material isn't likely. Hopefully, we can get something pretty close, that will look really good when installed. It will most likely be done with inkjet, as silk screening on the original type material would be cost prohibitive, given the low number that would probably be sold.
