Garcade should I or not?

Doesnt the garage get too humid? Do you guys still park cars in the garage or completley close off the garage. I think in the winter if you pull the cars in the garage you run the risk of water damage and humidity issues.

Aside from the fact that I love parking cars in my garage, this is a huge reason why I can't have a garagecade. My garage is climate controlled and finished with sheetrock, and it is just never as comfortable as the rest of the house. If I lived somewhere else that might not matter, but where I live it means 40F in the winter and 90F in the summer. I don't really like hanging out there except when the weather is really pleasant.

I only have 7 games but plan on getting more.I have 5 in my basement and 2 in the garage cause they won't fit in my basement.I moved some shit around yesterday in the garage and now have room to put all in there.My wife thinks I'm stupid to put them all in the garage the reason I don't know.She is the one that bitched in the 1st place when I put them in the basement now she's fighting me on THIS WTF.I have always wanted them all in the same area what is your thoughts on this anyone else ever had this issue?

I'm always intrigued when I see posts like this regarding the wife. Did most of us not get into this hobby before we got married? By the time I got married I had over 20 games and if I got grief over it we probably wouldn't have gotten married.

I guess I'm pretty lucky this way. On the other hand, I tend to look the other way when new shoes and clothes come into the house.

I ask because I have a detached garage, and setting it up as the gameroom would mean running sufficient power & heat to the garage, not to mention having to go outside to get there. No big deal most of the time, but during the winter that would suck...

It's a detached about 20' from the house.I have a brand new 100 amp breaker box and a hanging furnace also it get nice and warm. Decision has been made all are going to the garage I'll gets pics up when I get some help moving them.
