Anybody know what or where I should start to fix this? I'm going to try to fix it while it's for sale.

I have verifed the voltages on the power supply board and they are correct.

I had an identical issue on my Space Invaders today.

Take your voltage reading at the gameboard pcb (legs of an IC) and be sure you're at 5v there. If not, raise the POT on the power supply board until you read 5V at the IC. It may solve your problem. Also check your fuses outside of the fuse holder to be sure they're good.

I would check the power at the boardset for sure, Could also be a bad ram or more.. with my si i had 2 bad rams..

I found the bad ones by using a test rom.

I dont know how far racine is from the il border, im south of beloit... so if you want to make the drive lmk and i will try to find my test rom .. i have a tube of nos ram chips courtesy of "scam controls", so i would donate a few ram chips to the cause if thats what your issue is.

I can borrow you the test rom and give you a couple ram chips, or if you just want to hang one some day and ty to fix it here( we can test in my machine) lmk

edit, wait, havent we already met or am i thinking of somebody else?

yep..we almost met...i bought a pin from you in desplaines during the floods some years back. i had to squeeze it through the fence and your car by myself. ..good times!

thanks for the offer/...I'll get back with you on that

When you checked your voltages on the power supply board, did you check the reset circuit? A faulty reset circuit can cause your issue (and as mentioned.....so can other stuff).
