Well it only took an hour to move all the games and crap from one side of the garage to the other. 3-1/2 More hours to cut and install the insulation. Just taking a quick break from lunch and then staple the insulation. I'll prep the drywall tonight and atart on it first thing in the morning as I have a poker tourney to go to tonight at 6pm. :) I'll post more pics when I get the drywall up.

That's crazy that they didn't have sheetrock on those studs originally? Local codes here require thicker 5/8" sheetrock and at least a 2 hr fire rated entry door in residential garages.

It looks like you're off to a good start, looking forward to the rest of the pics.

The code for our area is only the walls that butt up to living space in the home. My garage only has one wall common with living space, the back wall.

Well I am off to poker, wish me luck as it is a $40 buy-in. :p

Well the drywall is now up. I still have the area by the garage door to go, but i have to rewire the garage door so I will tackle that tomorrow morning. Thanks to those that stopped by for a visit. Oh wait it was just Seawolf. :p Thanks for the help Seawolf.

Now to clean up and watch the Blackhawks kick some butt. :D

Now we have to know how the tournament went? C'mon, you can't drop a note like that and NOT report back!

Nice work on the drywall, definitely my least favorite part.

Lost 2 buy-ins and got a speeding ticket on the way home.

Well I got it all done except for mudding and taping. That will be a future project, like next year.

Well here is my new layout for the "games side" of the garage.

I have 10 game in there right now.
