I picked up a sega 25" cabinet. It was converted to raiden 2. I am just curious as to what it was. Here is some clues:

It has a 3 coin door slot. So I am thinking 3 player game..

looks like a dynamo MJ moonwalker cabinet, but it has a standard width control panel Pre puched for for either 2 or 3 player games.

There are 2 game stickers on the cabinet.
one says model number 020804600

the other says Ic board serial number 900802.4040e

it has a funky cab wiring to jamma adapter.

It's not a Sega cab. Its a Dynamo 25" cabinet. I recognize the hole pattern on the rear panel piece, it's a pull-out "KISS" drawer style. That entire control panel wood should be able to lift and pull out for tampering with the guts.

I have had two of these and both were factory tagged with Moonwalker IDs, though both had fighters in them when I got them. In my opinion there were two differnet cabs moonwalker shipped in, the dedicated cab and this one.

The adaptor you are looking at looks like the System 32 adaptor boards I have in my Spiderman and Holloseum, my guess is they used something similar for System 18 (Moonwalker, and others).

I know its a dynamo cab. It also has a sega UL sticker on the outside. It has custom wirining in it with a sega made jamma wiring adapter.

maybe it is a moonwalker cab with a replacement dynamo control panel. This moonwalker has a different control panel than the dedicated cab I normally think of on moonwalker.. the top cab picture has an uncut side to accomodate the wider control panel.. The bottom cabinets side is cut to accomodate the wider control panel. Plus the cabinet of the bottom one is made differently. (different base and differnt marquee)

Ah. Got it. You were worrying me for a second. Yeah as far as what the Sega tags were, I haven't got the foggiest.

I have one of these control panels for an HS5 also. It has a MoonWalker CPO on it so I think it's a factory kit/conversion to MW for Dynamos.

I was toying with using the CP for AvP.
