I have never gotten into PC(or mac) gaming really in the last 5 years. I have a 15" Macbook Pro(2.2 Ghz 2GB ram) but I am looking to buy the new Macbook Air 13"(1.86 Ghz 4GB Ram 256MB Nvidia graphics).

I am just wondering what good games there are to play on with those kind of specs on the Air. I want the Air more for overall functionality than processing power so nevermind that part of the equation.

Do people still play COD4 Modern Warfare? I love COD. Let me know your thoughts!

Wow thanks don't know why I didn't think of that. Counterstrike or TF2 might be fun to get back into.

Civ V should be coming out on the Mac any time now. Should be able to run that fine with the settings turned down.

Oh maybe you can play Marathon. Does the Mac have any other games? xD
Photoshop? :p

If you get TF2, look me up, my name on Steam is:
Code:
FMonk [:D]
(code so it doesn't change my name into a smiley)

It'll be a month until I get my new laptop but when that rolls around I'll be looking into which games to get. Hopefully I can run some good games on it. Wonder if it could run Blacks Ops or MW2 on low settings running Windows in Boot Camp.

I need to find a forum dedicated to Mac Gaming...hmm.

Not buying this to be a gaming laptop thats for sure. I play all my games on my 40" Sony LCD and PS3 but it would be nice to get addicted to a game that I could take around with me in airports, etc. I loved playing SOCOM online on my PSP but lets face it the PSP is not quite up to snuff with FPS's.

Bejeweled 3 is coming out soon...

ha.

Last trip I went on, I was playing Torchlight and Buckets of Blood on my netbook.

The issue with most Macs is that they don't tend to have a very powerful video card by default, so the newest games like MW2 probably won't run very well. If it's not a tower, you can't really upgrade it either.
