Gameworks Las Vegas is likely going to be gone one of these days.

I think I meant to mention this before, but at least I am now... For at least 11 months now, real estate brokers have been advertising the location for sublease:

Looking at previous posts I see talk of games not working, other locations liquidated, etc.

Years ago they used to have a nice collection of classic games, but over time the number of these went down and down, and then I remember the day I walked in and found most of them gone and the remaining ones all recased in these ugly generic cabinets. What a bummer.

My favorite memory of the place was starting, and finishing in one sitting, the House of Dead.

I was there recently. Not many people were in there but it was just after they had opened for the day. They have a good selection of newer games, mostly drivers and shooters, but that's what the marketplace has become. The classics section is still there but those ghastly wood cabinets have always been an abomination.

There's really no substitute for the Pinball Hall of Fame. The Excalibur's arcade is also pretty decent, with some newer games. Circus Circus' arcade is also pretty decent.
