Last year I passed on two games that when I think about them my stomach twists into knots!! Nice Battlezone Cabaret 5 min from my house, looked good, worked great except the game screen was only covering half the screen. $250 bucks and I walked away because I was so new to arcade games didn't know it could be ez fix. The other one was Jungle King in LA in good shape I passed on for $450(plus 100 in gas). Think I tried to get it down to 375 and it didnt work. Wish I could go back...

Hmm, only game I regret not buying was a Sprint 2 that went for $75 working at auction. I already had 2 or 3 broken ones in my basement at the time and several spare boards and couldn't get any of them going. I can't remember if I was out of truck space by the time it came up or was REALLY wanting some other stuff further down the line. So I never bid on it.

chiller at SJ auction like 18+ years ago. I think it went for like $500.

addams family for $1600 like 15+ years ago. Thought price would drop more(I had just gotten TZ for $1k), but pin prices started to climb. Had to pay $2200 for one.

HUO Medieval madness for $6500 like 10 years ago.

not buying a 2nd tron LE pin...

A crater raider, liberator and a sinistar all went for between $170 and $325 bucks locally on ebay, wish I would have nabbed one or two of them.

If you need/want a battlezone cabaret, I've done so much rebuilding/replacing to mine it's crazy. (not selling it for $250 though :) )

Being second in line for an EDOT and when the first guy heard of my interest via the seller he bought it right away ( can't blame him really). So I didn't really have a chance but........I was SO close !

An Eyes about 15 years ago; nice working game - $150

A Stargate mini, a Jungle King mini, both about 8 or 9 years ago. There's been a few more, but these always pop into my head as I've never seen any of these since.

neo-geo 4 slot w/ games and card-reader. $235 locally on ebay. I was watching it for 4 days and got called into a last minute meeting at work and totally forgot about it since my dang phone was on my desk.

Joust pinball machine for $800
It was around 12 years ago, it didn't work and I had never heard of Joust pinball. I thought it looked kind of lame. Yeah, I regret that one, lol... sigh....

I suppose I didn't really have the room for most of these at the time, but here's some regrets over the years:

Vindicators - worked but colors inverted probably due to having a Nintendo monitor installed = $50
Xybots - in excellent shape = $120
Donkey Kong 3 - Needed a recapping REALLY bad = $50
Turbo upright - Worked and in decent shape = $50
Fire One! daughterboard on Ebay = went for around $10
Exidy Attack! board on Ebay = extremely rare, went for around $10

Wow, you can tell I'm still a newbie. Some of your stories made mine look silly. $90 working Reactor...wow.

Passing up a working Reactor for a measily $90 IS something to definately regret! :p

back in the day, reactor was not worth that much. It really depends on when. I got my reactor at super auctions for like $300-$350. Same with mad planets, and I-robot. But that was like 15-20 years ago.

A 3rd Berzerk that was fully working with original Bat-stick . . . still kind of kicking myself on that one.

A couple of others at the first auction that I went too and didn't know if I could fix them, but now I know I could have.
