Games You Never See Converted...

Off the top of my head machines I've never seen converted in person or pictures of:
Daytona USA's, Outrun, After Burner, Atari Pong, Wacko, X-Men 6 Player, Silent Scope,
Asteroids Deluxe, Revolution X, Gauntlet Legends/Dark Legacy, Rush driving games...

Sega Turbo never gets converted...

Wait... there are always exceptions:

Are you supposed to tip it over on it's back, and sit on the coin door in order to play?

Here's some pics for everyone that's missed a Cinematronics cab or Wizard of Wor cab conversion.

The WoW is a caberet and will be un-converted in the near future.

Any idea what that Cinematronics was?

(Seems like a lot of things - even non-Scramble-harness games - got converted to Super Basketball back in the day.)

I do have the CP left actually. Have not touched it yet. I was going to multi the cab. I think I have another Pac cp I could use. Or I could make a new one. Let me check tomorrow and I will pm you with what I find.

Thanks. I'm not in dire need of it so no problems if it's easier for you to keep and use it.

I was offered an empty PP cab a couple years ago for $135. It had been JAMMA-tized and the person offering it wanted too much in my opinion. Just because I paid $35 for an empty gutted and converted Tron (and before I get flamed - all the plexi was UV fried and hazed with spiderline cracks and when it was removed it literally crumbled) that was long ago made into an Offroad (Atari) and still had the gas pedal doesn't mean I'm going to pay over a hundo for a bunch of particle board.

The Tron ended up a nice MAME and the PP? Well, back on thread topipc, it had been painted black on the sides, had no marquee, and no mechs behind the steering wheel.

PP's do get converted but it is rare, I don't think I ever played a converted sit down S.T.U.N. Runner though.

There's a S.T.U.N. Runner at an arcade here in Phoenix that's been converted to Star Wars.

Saw this on ebay. At first I thought it was an AD, but it's not. I've never even seen that version of Jungle King before.

josh usually brings his to cax it was a battlezone converted to a pod racer

Nice, but POD Racer is a newer game, no? This wasn't done when the Battlezone stopped earning back in the 80's, was it? Was this some kind of a novelty joke for 'josh'? BTB, I never noticed it there at all.

It least one was a baseball game of some sort. Found the cp for it in the parts that came along with the lot of games.

If either one had been a vector I would have put some effort into restoring them. The basketball game wiring harness did become part of a Scramble or Gyruss.

The other one was donated to a local guy that is trying to write his own games on some sort of small cpu board.

Don't think I've ever seen a Paperboy converted. It's kinda hard to play Asteroids or Soul Calibur with handlebars. :D

I've never seen the handle bars utilized but a local arcade had a paperboy they converted to a carrier airwing. Actually the cab is in beautiful condition other than the crappy game they put in it. And of course the hacked cp.
