Games you bought supposedly "non-working" that worked

I bought a Qbert for $50 that still had an "Out of Order" sign from twenty years ago. It turned out to be a bad plug going to the filter board. I replaced the plug, reflowed some solder and a cap kit and it is still running strong. I've since rebuilt the PS and updated the battery to a 2032.

I picked up my cool gunman for free. There was a op that was having a big sale trying to clear out a storage unit. I grabbed a couple of games and was headed home but remembered seeing a game in the corner that look different. I grabbed a business card from the guy before I left. On the was home, about a 2 hour drive, I had me girlfriend call him and find out what the game was and how much he wanted for it, he told her it was free.. When I got home the first thing I did was go to youtube to see what the game was and if I would want it. After watching the video I called him and told him I wanted it and set up a time to go back and pick it up. When I was there he told me he was not sure if it worked. Then one of his employees told him the he was sure it worked and they had a second one they used for parts to get it working, I still need to go back and get the second one to pull the parts out of it. When I made it home with the game I pulled it out of my trailer and plugged it in and it fired up and everything worked, it did have a couple of bulbs burned out and some of the light sensors do not work right plus one gun does not work as good as the other but it is playable and very fun.
