Games with the worst design flaws

"Looping and probably Sky Bumper - They like to thermo-cycle their TMS9995 processors to death until the legs literally fall off, and they're tough to find."

Don't forget that Looping also had a suicide battery. The code to fix this problem is available on the Internet (need to reburn one PROM).

You sure about that? I've had my Looping boardset apart more than a few times and I don't recall it having anything that looked like it had a battery, I'll have to go grab it and look again.

There may have been two versions of the Looping boardset, but I ran across the code years ago on a collector page where they went into great detail about it. I owned a Looping for about a day or two and I had no way to test the board, so I can neither confirm nor deny. :)

Any boards that use Texas Instruments proms/eproms or TTL chips.

* Thinnest legs of all manufacturers, easy to bend/snap off while inserting or removing
* Apparently not enough nickel coating and they not only tarnish easily but downright rust out while the rest of the board, and sometimes the socket they're in, appears spotless.
