Games with the hardest Bonus Stages

Ahhh, impressive number of the green space bees!

Thanks :) It's actually maxed out. There's a total of 165 available, after that, it quits adding them. Whatever isn't used on the 100 pt. ones to spell out the letters is used for the green 200 pt. ones until the total is 165. I've always loved the Gaplus/Galaga 3 bonus stages, and the sounds are neat on it too.
As to games with the hardest bonus stages, I agree on Karate Champ...the only one I can do is DEMO (the one where you kick the boards). If I'm paying attention, I can get the max bonus.

Not sure if this counts. Total Carnage pleasure dome. Haven't made it yet.

Not sure of the hardest, but I'd say Mario Bros is the easiest for me. I'd also say Q*bert's Cubes has one of the coolest and most fast paced, if not hardest bonus rounds evar.

Q*Bert Qubes is definitely the most difficult imo.

Mappy is the most fun and best music bonus round for me.

Zoo Keeper because you can die during these "bonus stages". The final top escalator can be a bitch as well. I don't count the coconut boards as bonus stages but the invisible ledges board can also be a bitch if you count them.

Ok so what games have the hardest bonus stages? For me it's Karate Champ, those freaking plants are harder then heck to dodge.

1942 Bonus/%-Up stages on Difficult and Very Difficult settings can be tough. On Easy and Normal the regular enemies do not fire, but on other 2 settings I believe all enemies fire.

I have not played Karate Champ in awhile, but I remember those bonus stages being tough. Wasn't there a Bull that ran your ass over too, if you did not time your punch or kick just right? Or was that a separate Bonus Stage?

great swordsman's bonus stage is pretty hard to complete.
I haven't done it since I've owned the board. back in high school I may have, can't remember.

How about Shinobi? I always miss one freakin ninja.

I thought that too. It is definitely hard, but not even as close as Gaplus's bonus stage. I am sure there are other that are hard too. Really is is those last 3 ninjas that are the ones that will slip by. The Barrel stage in Street Fighter 2 is hard because on barrel always takes 2 hits to break. Samurai Shodown is hard too, and Street Fighter 3's parry basketball stage is hard for me. The final bonus stage in Mortal Kombat is pretty tough.

Neo Mr. Do has these timed puzzles every few levels. You have to slide apples to open a path, but if you don't do everything perfectly, you can't complete them.

I get to a point that I can do the first couple, but then forget the patterns if I don't play for a while.
