So last week I picked up a Rolling Thunder and Super Sprint. Neither of them have marquee light fixtures and it's the first time I have ever seen that. What other games have you seen that were made with no light fixture? I'm wondering why manufacturers decided to go without them. These two games are bugging me because when the lights go out everything else is nicely lit up top, then you see two seperate dark spots and two glowing monitors making it look like the bulbs blew out,lol Anyone here ever attempted to make an unlighted marquee functional? I'm thinking of doing a mod to both games.

Gauntlet suffers form the same and I think 720 might also be without a marquee light, although I don't own one to confirm.

I don't think I'd be able to own a game that didn't have a marquee light. That's what arcades are all about!! Them and the coin switch lights! :D

Atari Orbit - has a metal marquee that does not light up

Vectorbeam Space War - metal upper marquee does not light up, but the lower middle does.

My Tank II upright does not light up. I should pull the bezel to see if they is a light fixture behind there.

I don't think fast freddie has one but I can't remember. It certainly does not have a marquee . The glass bezel and marquee are all one large piece.

didnt they make the marquees that dont have lights in them blacked out meaning even if there was a light it wouldnt be able to shine thru?
