Games with Beautiful Cabinets You Didn't Know About

For example Universal's Devil Zone, wow!

I looked it up because I saw this cocktail on CL: http://rochester.craigslist.org/tag/2726047860.html

Both are in Taito cabinets, but the upright is amazing!

What is the game play like? Looks like SI crossed with Radar Scope from the screen shots I have seen.

Yeah, thats a good description, with a bit more galaga thrown in. It is actually a very hard game. Its like galaxian in that you only fire one shot at a time, so its more skill than button mashing. It has some interesting sound effects too!

Heres a quick one I snapped, sorry for the mediocre quality:

The cool thing is, its black light responsive!!

Wow! That is cool! Looks like the bezel on the upright is black light responsive too.

Seems that for the most part people are putting up Taito cabinets, so not only did Taito make tons of awesome games, but lots of great cabinets too!

A lot of guys here like to have Nintendo rows, seems to me that a Taito row could be much more exciting and fun! Although it would cover all the awesome side art.

Also Clowns flying on brooms?!? WTF?! What is Taito and it's love of clowns? Was the CEO a fan? Cause for example Mr. Do! wasn't a clown in the flyers and prototypes.

Taito employee: We finished the game and are ready to ship sir.

Taito CEO: Great, before you ship it, I want you to add clowns.

Taito employee: Clowns again sir?

Taito CEO: Yes, kids love clowns.

Pretty much any Atari upright cabinet beats those in looks.
Clowns FFS... what were they thinking?
