Was recently reading something about Major Havoc, and it talked about how if you ran MH into a wall, he would fall down, get up, and dust himself off. Then, if you didn't do anything, he would cross his arms and tap his foot while he waited for YOU to do something.

Made me wonder how many other games have little things in them that show the character is waiting for you to do something. Any other games out there that know YOU are the master of their domain?

I was walking by my Wizard of Wor the other day and must have hit The fire button or the joy stick and the Synthesized voice came on and said something like "hey put a quarter in" kind of the same thing? LOL

Another one is The Simpsons. If you sit there for awhile, the character will look at you and say something:
Marge says "How's my Hair", Homer yawns, Lisa says "Ha Ha, made you look", and Bart makes a goofy face and says "Who the hell are you?"

I think TMNT did something similar if you stopped moving forward.. smart-aleck quips, don't remember specifically what was said by whom.

Yeah, that is very common in modern console games. Not so common in classic arcade games.

All the Metal Slug games have little animations like that. Walk one of the guys (not sure about the girlies) up to the edge of a ledge and they start leaning over on one foot with snot dripping out the nose...stand in one spot too long and you'll see foot tapping, a radio conversation, laying down on ground, etc...
