Games that are difficult even when set to Easy!!!

What games do you guys think are still difficult even with the Dips set to easy?

I have three nominees:

Bagman (I see someone else already said that).

Turkey Shoot (even on the easiest setting, the third wave (Turkey Air Raid) is brutal).

Berzerk - after a few levels, the game is just unplayable, Otto is too fast and too powerful.

I don't own it... yet... but I would have to say Haunted Castle... It's insane on even the hacked rom. 3 hits and your dead on the regular and on the hacked, it still takes a lot to make it though.

Could be just me, but I find Reactor difficult. Took me awhile to get the concept down, and even then...

Fighting games, Super Turbo Blue board comes to mind. AI in that game is redongulous.

Has anyone finished Smash TV without dying? The difficulty seems to ramp up really quick in that game.

Hard

The winner: Astro blaster
Liberator is pretty tough also.

Looping is hard when you first start playing. Once you get good at flying around in the tunnels, it gets a lot easier.

Popeye was the first game I thought of. The timing in DKJR makes it another candidate. I would also say Zaxxon.

Looping was difficult because of the effed up control scheme; it's not too bad once you get that down....

Space Dungeon - the first level is hard enough to get every treasure and pass thru every room. After that it's nigh on impossible, and degenerates quickly into a mad dash to reach the level's exit without losing every life.

Venture - not so much because it's a hard game, although that's true too. What made it difficult to play was that the clunky joystick response was abysmal at best.

I gotta go with Missile Command, Defender, Robotron (cant get past 7th wave)... and as I recall berzerk is pretty tough a few boards in.

Super Zaxxon is super hard because all they did was increase the speed--too much and change a few graphics...Very difficult even for veteran zax players.

Bagman, FTW!!! That's a game that NOBODY thinks is easy.

Honorable mention: Satan's Hollow. Deceptively easy, but gets impossible really fast. Surprised nobody mentioned it yet.

I have an Arkanoid II: The Revenge of Doh! game and I can tell you even set on the easiest setting that game is damn hard to get started. The bricks are 3/4 of the way down the screen on the first board, making near impossible to clear without losing some ships unless you get a powerup right away.

Different games will be hard for different people. I tend to think games are hard that I do not have an interest in because if I do I will play them until they become easier. That being the case, I dislike Defender, Missile Command and most of the vector/buttons only games (Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Gravitar, etc) therefore, to me those are tough. I don't find platformers too tough personally but I enjoy them the most I think so that helps.

I would have to say Sinistar. I remember it being difficult in the arcades taking many quarters from me. I've had one for a while and my score is only getting worse.
