Was watching the movie "Let Me In" last night and was delighted to see some games in it. The movie takes place in New Mexico 1983 and this scene is supposed to be in a local pharmacy. Man, I'd love to have me some of those! Here's a pic.

Nice find. Brings back memories....

I enjoy watching movies with arcades or games in them my favorite arcade related movie is fast times in ridgemont high it brings me back many memories hanging out at the malls with friends playing at the gold mine arcade that's what it was like growing up in the 80s.

There have been a number of posts about games in movies. Always fun to see. Here's one I saw again recently:

Yeah, there are a bunch of threads like this one, if you feel like digging a little.

I got excited seeing the Space Wars in your picture, though! Awesome.

Arm Wrestling, natch!

Yeah, for a movie about arm wrestling, it makes sense that Arm Wrestling would be in an arcade scene.

It's one of those really bad movies that's good because you remember watching it and liking it as a kid. I think the soundtrack is better than the movie. ;)

1. "Winner Takes It All" - Sammy Hagar
2. "In This Country" - Robin Zander
3. "Take It Higher" - Larry Greene
4. "All I Need Is You" - Big Trouble
5. "Bad Nite" - Frank Stallone
6. "Meet Me Half Way" - Kenny Loggins
7. "Gypsy Soul" - Asia
8. "The Fight (Instrumental)" - Giorgio Moroder
9. "Mind Over Matter" - Larry Greene
10. "I Will Be Strong" - Eddie Money

Wifey and I watched "Going The Distance" from 2010 with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long a few weekends ago. It's kind of a sappy chick flick with some decent male humor. Nevertheless, the whole movie evolves when the couple meets at a Centipede machine when Justin interrupts Drew's high score game.

Only pic I could find...

"I wanted the pretty girls coming up to me saying 'Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede'...."
