Games or Grails that you wish you could just find one to play!

While I consider my collection pretty good, I'm always looking to play that rare grail I don't have or a game I put a lot of time on as a kid that I just can't seem to find to either buy or play.

What Grails, games you've played a lot as a kid, or ones that you are just curious about that you have been looking for a long time just to play that you just can't seem to find, period?

Here's my list :

EDOT- While I own the upright, I have fond memories of playing the environmental version of the game. On top of that, this is one of my favorite games, period, so I have been seeking out an EDOT just to play one, anywhere. No dice. And I'd like to own one, perhaps someday, but playing one for an hour or so would certainly be nice.

Dragon's Lair in a dedicated cab- Another game that I played extensively as a kid, so much that my obsession took every penny of my allowance and I used to drive 40 miles round trip (when I was 16) just to play it. I haven't seen a dedicated DL in person in about 20 years, as the last time I saw one was at the Florida State Fair sometime around 1990. I was so obsessed with this game that I had a detailed notebook of moves and could kill the dragon with my first Dirk in most games. And sorry, the blu-ray is nice, but we all know there's nothing like the feeling of playing the real thing.

Paperboy- Another game I haven't seen in about 20 years.. nothing like playing one with the original handlebar controls. I played the crap out of this one on my nintendo.

720- saw an original cab recently, not for sale, and not working. Would love to take this game for a "spin" again :)

Mach 3 and the original Gauntlet- I know a collector that is close that just bought an original Gauntlet and has a couple of Mach 3 projects, so this is just a matter of time :) Todd, plan on spending hours playing that gauntlet when I get down there ;)

I'm curious to see what's on others list, if I didn't already own a reactor, quantum and dedicated Major Havoc they would certainly be on my list... I just go lucky!

when i was a kid i remember playing alot of stun runner and sit down after burner. i own a stand up ABII but id really like to just play them two games againn in sit down versions

So, here is my idea for an expansion of this topic: when someone lists some of the games they are DYING to play -someone locally step up!!!! there are many games that i have shelled out for, or considered shelling out for, to find out later that i just needed to play it a couple of times- noy buy it!! So, if someone lists a game that YOU have- HELP A BRUTHA OUT!! someone around Phoenix dyin' to play Dragons Lair or Space Ace?? drop me a line!! I wanna play Discs of Tron or Tempest! hook me up!

For me, it's a lot of laser games as we didn't have many here in Oz
Ones I'd like to see/play:

Cube Quest
Time Gal
Road Blaster (no not the Atari one)
Bega's Battle
Space Ace (in the inverted dedicated cab, I have the DL conversion)
Cliff Hanger

Also

Marble Man - Marble Madness 2
Donkey Kong II

I'd be happy just to see them (working)

Carnival. Its been over 5 years since I have even seen any and none of the three my boss had worked. The last time I played a Carnival would have been around 1985. Loved the game back then but now I can only play it in MAME, same with Bagman.

Rampart 3 player dedicated
Ghouls N Ghosts dedicated -have board
Strider dedicated -have board
Gradius
R360

Oh, I forgot! MAD PLANETS!!!!

Played Chris Mansfield's at his house recently and at the last arcade show. What a freakin' great game. I would have really loved it back in the day, but The Seattle show last year was the first time I ever played it.

Tempest! I had two of em when I was a kid, began restoring way back when. Now I'm in it again and I can't find a tempest anywhere on the MS gulf coast.

Mine would definitely be an EDOT.... I seriously dumped enough money into this at a Aladdin's Castle to own of these! I think there are a couple Illinois collectors out there who own one in their collection....Hint, hint!!:D

Some others...

Cosmic Chasm---Only seen one of these ever and loved playing it back then!
Two Tigers---The one with the flight yokes and tape player.
Munch Mobile---Another oddball game I loved!
Star Rider---My favorite laser of all time! Has to be the sit-down version!!!
Interstellar---Another cool laser game you never really hear about....

Death race - I have never seen one but I have read about this game from 1976. I also want a sitdown Spy Hunter, as I am sure I dropped enough quarters in one as a kid to buy one.

This is a good question! There are lots that I would love to just play! Here's a few.

Rip Off
EDOT
Cheyanne
T-Mek 4 player
Crazy Climber
720
Cliff Hanger
