Looking for any thoughts or feedback on those multigames made by Team Play. Who is Team Play ? Quality of these machines ? Are they jamma ?

I have a Robotron/Joust Kit ( Marquee , Side Art , CP Overlay , PCB ) I'm installing in a painted black Joust cab .

They are Jamma PCBs. I haven't played it yet , but I talked to Lon , the guy that is the master of Joust , rolling machines all over the USA , he said hes rolled some of the Robotron/Joust TeamPlay games , he said the game play is identical to the Original Joust and he couldn't tell a difference . So that says alot . It must be running an emulator though , right ? They are licensed , Legit boards , not illegal bootlegs .

Team play

I had the centipede/millipede/missile command board. Worked great. I sold it though in favor of an ArcadeSD so I could also do Crystal Castles, Liberator, Super Breakout all in one trackball cab.

I'd say same goes for their others - I'd take a JROK board with all the Williams games over the Team Play 2 game set up.

Still, that's not knocking Team Play. The boards work great.

Just remember - sound was a little off on Millipede though.

Glad this topic came up. I just bought a Team Play Centipede combo machine, the full upright version with the big screen but from a distributor in Seattle.

So is Missile Command strange playing on the vertical screen or is there pretty much no difference?

I hae the mario bros, DK, and DKjr and it plays great IMO.

I think it plays fine.. Just like mario plays fine on the DK DKJR Mario cab..

I have two HUOs.
Joust / RoboTron
Defender / Defender II

They are nice repros... but I gotta be honest; I JUST *HATE* their crayola logo.
I own three Teamplay machines... and cringe everytime I look at that logo.

Gameplay on the machines seem spot on - but I'm no expert on the gameplay.
Much rather them than a MAME box tho.
