Games in movies

The new Pizza Hut commercials have a Pac Man game in them.

From the upcoming movie "Boss Level". Main character interacts with
his son in a retro game center.
I watched The Boss yesterday and saw this scene. They also showed Galaga, Robotron, Pac-Man, and Spy Hunter uprights. Street Fighter 2 was shown on several game monitors and projection screens. They might have also shown Street Fighter 3, but I am not 100% sure (I'm not familiar enough with it to say 100%). It was funny to hear the main character telling his son (spoiler alert!) how to pronounce "Galaga".

so many posts, many movies are getting repeats...

was the White Boy Rick movie mentioned yet?

set in Detroit MI (woot woot) 1984, they show multiple games! woot woot! from 10m07s to 10m11s mark

4 video games positively identified: pac-man, berzerk, space invaders, ms pac-man

1 pinball not identified, would be slick if someone knew based off the corner sidewall:

There is a pinball machine in the family room of the main character in Nobody. I didn't catch what it was but whomever wrote the script has a basic understanding of pinball machines because it is used as more than a background prop later in the movie. Even my wife was impressed with how they used it.

I thought about this thread when I was watching The Thing this last weekend. My 11 year old sons "first" R-Rated flick. He loved it (he's a horror movie fan).

EDIT: Duh... why did I think of this movie? Because of the Asteroids Deluxe featured throughout of course (sans side-art though)...

I don't think I've seen this one posted. The Girl In Lovers Lane episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 has a scene around a pinball machine during the movie from 1960. Then, later in the MST episode, they feature another pinball machine as part of a spoof on the above scene.

I can't make out what either one is.

Just saw the newest Goldbergs and it had a scene at the skating rink. Erica was playing a Dig Dig UR, which was flanked by Pong, Millipede, and a .... Polybeus (sp?). I laughed out loud.

Just beat me to it. I thought it was Centipede, really hard to tell, but definitely Pong, Polybius, Dig-Dug and skee-balls.

A friend of my brother's was making a short episode of some series he wanted to pitch, they wanted to borrow my converted Ms Pacman and do it up like a Polybius and have it in the background of a scene. While the important stuff was happening front and center if you watched what was going on behind them you'd see someone walk up and start playing the game, and the next time you saw him a minute or so later he would be wandering away from the game looking dazed and confused. Ultimately this never happened but I could picture it being a pretty funny sight gag!

Saw this King of something movie the other day. Had this guy name Steve in it and a guy with jet black hair & hot sauce.......

Not sure if this has been mentioned or anyone here has seen it. It had a couple of old video games in it from what i can remember.....
