Games I Want Back: 2011

On the plus side, Phet, all the titles you're looking to reabsorb are fairly common...

I can't think of any I've gotten rid of... Have I gotten rid of any? I don't think I have. I'm thinking I want to sell my SI, but you keep making me rethink that concept...

The thing is, you need to be into the hobby a few years, buy more games than you have space for, etc before you can understand how this happens. When you have space for 25 games, but somehow have 40 on the premises, it takes very little to get you motivated to unload 5-15 of those games when the opportunity arises. Then later, when things die down, you start actually realizing what games you actually liked, and now miss. Plus, the money is gone, so now you have nothing to show for getting rid of the game(s).

Another great thread Phet.

Asteroids cabaret
Pengo
Warlords cocktail

All I can think of...

Really? I was debating about my Pengo. It doesn't get much play, but I think I'd miss it if it were gone. My wife feels the same.

Yeah, but it is one of my all time favorites so I am biased. Most people likely feel much more meh about the game. I'd probably have another were it not on my 48 in 1.

I think all the multis I've ever seen with Pengo on them have effed up SFX. The push and block sounds are totally different than the original.

I wish I still had my Street Fighter II. I'll be honest, I don't remember which version it was, but I miss it... I'm currently trying to find a cheap Dynamo Z-Back I can build for Capcom 6 button fighters and other JAMMA games.

Really? That is the game you miss???

Yes, I liked the game- probably cuz I grew up watching the movies and the sounds are cool. I also wish I still had it to go with my Star Wars and Tron for movie themed games. It was also the only Atari System X I had before I acquired a paperboy. I still think the game is cool and would probably buy one if the deal was right.

good thread btw

I know it's not a popular game but i miss my King and Balloon. That game was mint and i really enjoyed playing it. Heck it's only been gone for 6 weeks and i'm already thinking i may have to find another one. I regretted it before the shipping company even got it's hands on it.
