Games I Should Have Played By Now, But Haven't

Bad Dudes - Fun to play through once or twice, then you'll get bored
Track & Field - I like it, but can't hit the buttons fast enough.
Timber - I look forward to playing Timbre's Timber at the Seattle Show each year
Rastan - Dunno if I've played it or not
DOT - Played it once at Ground Kontrol. Thought it was interesting, and would try it again, but wouldn't want to own one.

I actually played Galaga for the first time at a resort a little over a month ago. It was pretty fun, but it's no Galaxian.

Clearly that's a matter of opinion. They are very similar games. At least with Galaga you have the bonus rounds to break up the monotomy and the enemies are a little more varied.

Once I achieved over a million points on Galaga I never played my machine seriously again.

Still, I would not get rid of it as long as I have a collection of other games...I don't think any arcade is complete without a Galaga.

As for games I have never played I can't think of any. The last one that I had not played was Quantum but I managed to play one for hours recently. What a great game, one of the best ever. I need to get my Multi Vector up and running.

BTW - I still have never played Karate Champ. I almost bought one just because I wanted to play it so bad. I remember seeing it a lot of places BITD but I think I was intimidated by the control scheme as a young lad?

SIGH

DOT/EDOT (I'm thinking I need to visit Hawaii before I will able to play one.)

Space Ace - Only laser games I remember playing were DL, DL II, Mach 3 and
Fire Fox

Major Havoc

I am still amazed at how many relatively popular games I never played BITD, in some cases, still haven't played, even having attended CAX twice. I can think of at least 5:

Bad Dudes
Track & Field
Timber
Rastan
DOT

Weird.

OMG?!?! No Rastan?! Just such a great game, as all Taito games are! I wonder how someone would feel about it now have never played it back in the day. To me it goes so well with Ghost 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts/Black Tiger/Gladiator/Cadash! If you haven't played any of those games you should!

Also Bad Dudes was so much fun back in the day, I don't know it it holds up at all today. The animation is choppy and it is hard to get by it, but it is no where as bad as Double Dragon III in the arcade.

Hey, there is still nothing better than rescuing President Ronnie and going for a burger!

Dude, I just lost a little bit of the little bit of respect that I use to have for you.

I'm gonna have to buy a Track & Field cocktail, restore it to my standards, send you two tickets to Vegas with a coupon for some beers, and show you the best head to head game out there. Hell, I might even pick me up a cheap Rastan just so you can hear that musical score. One of the best ever. And a great game to boot.

And you call yourself a collector? Whfft! Get with it already!

In October I found an arcade in Ann Arbor that had a tron. First time I had ever seen or played the game. I'd like to play it some more.

Star Wars/ESB
Tempest
Frenzy
Berzerk (only played it in MAME and on the Atari.

That is one thing that I hate, games that I never saw in an arcade to play, like Journey, Never saw that anywhere.

Played a lot of Tron back in the day.

Ouch. I long for happier times when you were nice.
