Many of these games will be for sale very shortly, a certain KLOV member has first dibs on any he wants. Some work, some dont, some are missing screens. I also got a ton of parts/marquees, harnesses, etc etc. 1. Dynamo pool table, and multiple dart boards, and 1 japanese table top of Moon Patrol

Pictures will be flowing in the coming days.

Ok, we need the story now. Spill the beans, and the pics!

I just ask if Aliens has it's original cpo...to please scan it or sell it to me and I can scan it...either way please scan the thing hahahaha. Oh also if you managed to get alien 3 the gun let me know.

the story

im a mailman. i also dabble in arcade/pinball games. when i say dabble i have bought literally 2 machines so far, a ms pacman and a killer instinct 2. my wife bought me a pin for my birthday (EM) a few months back and someone sold me an arachnid dart board because "it didnt work".
Anyhow im delivering mail and this old guy has what appears to be the seat from a hydro thunder under what used to be a carport, but its a carport in the sense of a tarp is a high dollar waterproof tent. At some time long ago it was probably a pretty decent carport, but time and weather had beaten it into what appeared to be a piece of corrugated tin leaning on some sticks. But nonetheless the chair from hydro thunder was sitting there all under what was certainly years of leaves and dust. So i ask him "is that a hydro thunder chair"? now realize this guy is easily 65 so im thinking he is going to look at me like i was the first color television he had ever seen, with a sense of bewilderment. Much to my surprise he says "yes it is" So i ask "what happened to the game?" his reply is "its up in the warehouse". Now im intrigued, so we discuss other things, like rain, women and why publishers clearing house keeps sending him mail. (if you dont buy anything from them, they will stop sending you mail). Then I ask if he wants to sell this Hydro thunder, in which he says, "i got a bunch of games I'd like to sell them all". Now im thinking, how much is a bunch, 5, 10, maybe even 15? im shooting for 5 at most, i mean no offense by my mail route is in the ghetto. I ask, "how many exactly?" he says "well im not sure but its at least a hundred". Holy Moses, the way he says it, im just stuck, i cant get through all the calculations in my mind in the seconds it took it to come out of his mouth. Im thinking what did he say, while dreams of all different games pop in and out of my head like fireworks in the July night. he has my full attention at this point, its like im some poor sucker in a black and white film, and he is some raspy voiced damsel that i will reluctantly listen too no matter what. I ask if he only wants to sell some of them, to which he quickly barks "no" , he wants to sell them all or nothing.

so a couple of days later we go to look at them, they are in a dusty old warehouse, but its dry, piled in like children in a tornado drill. there is really barely any breathing room, but i can squeeze through like a jaguar on the prowl. There are so many games, so many jukeboxes, so many pool tables, only 2 old EM pinball machines, and countless dart boards. It seems this old guy used to run an arcade route, putting machines in bars, stores, restaurants etc etc. but when license fees spiked, he just put them in this warehouse, where they had sat for many years.

i make him an offer, he accepts the offer, i now own the above list of games , 1 pool table, 1 moon patrol table games, and countless dart boards.

This is awesome thanks for sharing. Of course have to see the pics.

Helluva story, thanks for sharing. Felt like I was right there with you.

I have to ask though, you sound like a common collector like me. Where the heck are you gonna put 100 games? Did you buy his warehouse too? :D

it was too good of a deal to pass up for me. he said i can keep them in his warehouse till the end of the year. so thats where ill be working out of. hopefully i can move enough of them before then to have an amount to work with storing. many of them work, many of them dont, i know there are some "just cabs". My wife is hardcore pushing me to open a Barcade , but i dont think i want to deal with that mess.
