heh... nah, it's not about the money. He brought it up a few weeks ago when I told him I was thinking of selling the machines. I thought he was joking since he has around 15 of them already. Anyway, he's a good friend and he did ask first.

We're all good, just wanted to make sure things hadn't changed is all. No slight on your integrity intended . :)

Three things I want have all come up at once, didn't want to hold out for this and miss out on something else, blah, blah, blah....

So here's the deal. I have a ton of shit here in the warehouse and there's hardly any room to move stuff around without dragging it out the back. There are two pinball machines in the back. Black Knight and Swords Of Fury that is blocking up the works. I need some pinball skates to move that crap outta here so I can start moving stuff out, clean them up, test them, take pictures and wrap the machines back up in plastic. All the light ballasts blew out in here except for one and I can't replace them until I move the machines out so taking pictures is out until I can get them in to the sun. Since I have a full time job, I won't be able to take pictures until Saturday. Thanks!

makes no sense. you rather sell your only donkey kong to someone who already has
15 donkey kong's rather to sell it to a collector who has NO donkey kong's? COME ON!!!

Hey!!! You told me you were going to sell ME the Donkey Kong. Remember I asked you about it around 3 years ago? You said if you ever decided to sell it, I'd get first dibs. Are you backing out on that now? I need Tombo to enforce this deal. Where is Tombo when you need him?

Oh wait, just kidding. I don't even know you. ;)

It's interesting to me that the first game I ever owned was a DK. That was back in like 1989. I bought it as a Xmas present (or was it birthday?) for my wife, now ex. She got to keep it in the split. And now I have several games, but I have never managed to pick up another DK.

Yes. Makes perfect sense. If I knew he really wanted them, I wouldn't of posted them. I have several other machines I didn't post because I know people want them.

Haha! The DRAMA! Oh, God... don't tell Tombo! I said I was gonna get a Berzerk off of him and backed out to get a Sinistar in his area instead. I felt bad but I had to choose between the two.

Would you mind asking the person you are selling the Donkey Kong to if he would be willing to sell it to me and for how much? If he really has a dozen of them I'm sure he is looking to sell them anyway at a profit.

I don't know. Someone with a dozen of the same game sounds like a hoarder not a flipper.

No disrespect intended here, but why are you willing to sell your Krull to user Dick Jones but you are not willing to sell me your Donkey Kong? In both cases you claim someone has approached you claiming you promised it them in the past. Just wondering.

this thread is getting silly -

Rolling Thunder is mine now, BTW. kissyface.jpg

Agreed this is getting a little heated for no reason. I was another person interested in DK who lives about 2 1/2 hours away from Orange County area with cash in hand.. I think some may be salty as the asking price is $850 without photos, it's still an awesome deal. The Craiglist postings as Dick Jones suggested is accurate as they are available, but the expected prices are $1500-$2000. Finding one less than $1000 on West Coast original is getting a little harder. Hence, some people are salty.

I prefer loyal system as if JuanUp committed to others, well, they are his machines and he could do as he pleases.
In the world of business, spoken words should be kept first.

Clearly not needed, but GLWTS!!!

I did last night and he laughed.

He wanted them since he hosts the Kong Offs here in SoCal... and he's a good friend.

COME ON!!! Haha! So angry! :)

So... my property manager was going to give the keys to his unit behind my warehouse space. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. So I couldn't pull machines to take pictures. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
