Gameroom Project - Completed

Why is that top step all fu$# up and mismatched?! Just bustin your balls! The room looks fantastic! Nice job man.

Top 2 steps even , if you want to be anal ,

There is too much twisty color there , to worry about that , but your carpet guy can easily cut them out , as your Smooth edge trim will secure an add on .

No it is only the top step. Every other step is the pattern. :)

Looks great! Whats around the poles?

I only have 2 posts in the basement. 1 is hidden in the wall at the bottom of the steps to the right (Looking from the top of the stairs). The other post is in the Gameroom and is wrapped with oak and stained, plus a cap for the top and bottom. It looks great in person, the pictures do not show the detail real well. I was very pleased about that part.

On a side note, I am getting leg leveler samples sent to me to test on this carpet. Figured I might as well get new ones for all my games before I bring them down. :D (When I order I will be getting close to 200!)

Gameroom project completed? Isn't it missing the most imporant part? Where are all the games?

Looks great....otherwise....

4 out of 5 pins are up and running. I need to thank my 5' xx lbs wife for helping me set-up my pins. These things are heavy. For those that know my wife give her an ata-girl when you see her. :)

Looks like the sound deadening techniques I used work. Was playing F-14 pinball (my loudest pin) last night and wife never heard a peep. Play on! :D

What did you do?

Just finishing the walls helps alot. I know the sound was greatly reduced when we did our basement, even before the crop seiling was in.

Our basement ceiling was insulated, and we used acoustic absorbing drop ceiling tiles. I can play Hyperball and as long as the basement door is closed, my wife says she does not hear it. The positioning of the games helps alot as well. My games are mainly under the dining / living room areas, where we do not usually spend time unless we have company over.

Looks awsome, Michael. If you need any help don't hesitate to call the locals including me.

Dishwasher? What the hell are you looking at? On the left is a wine cooler, liquor cabinet in the middle, and a beer fridge on the right. And yes that is my bar. :D

Had a friend over last night in fact. Cracked the first few beers of Skydive Games. I was down there are soon as I got home from work. Wife did not know I was down there when she got home. Love the space and the sound proofing. Sunday I will attempt to move a couple of vids into the space. And yes as you can tell I am excited. Apperantly the wife has told her work people and they want to come over when ALL the games are in. Even her big boss who is in MN wants to see it.
