Nice write up Chris...

I recommend checking out Gameroom Magazine if you've not done so already. It's a little spendy, but it's FOR THE HOBBY for crying out loud... and it takes a lot of money to produce a full color full glossy magazine like Gameroom... and with a limited audience, the price is more than justified.

Thats his 2nd one, no?

BTW - can you scan that and post here for the rest of us?

Thanks Frizz, It was cool to get the cover and someday when I'm old and gray it's gonna be fun to show the mag to my Grand Kids :) Oh and by the way....it's ZFCAMARO with an "A" not an E......

JOW - 2nd time in Game Room, If someone has the September issue of Game Room and could scan my article and post it up I'd appreciate it. I was in a magazine called GAMES based in New York along with a couple other collectors last year but the magazine is burried somewhere in my storage....

WOLF - Laugh all you want, next time you travel to a Twilight Convention in Forks, WA with your wife I'm stealing your HUO Pole Position ;)

i get my monthly mag, game mag is cool! ZFCAMARO has a great Arcade it was nice to see. I have taken a few ideas from Chris and he has always replied to my emails, agian i think his Arcade is one of the Top Gamerooms.

Congrats on the mag, but to be honest it was just a matter of time

You cheap bastards can cough up less than $5 a month to (A) get a cool monthly magazine ABOUT THE HOBBY and (B) help out a fellow enthusiast doing his best to run a magazine just about single-handed.... (well, almost).

They also have a trial subscription 6 issues for $15

I did this, and I don't regret it, but didn't feel the need to renew either. The magazine is high quality and well done, but it seemed to be 80% about pinball, which I'm just not into -- not complaining, the mag just isn't for me. If it was more focused on video games instead of pinball I'd definitely renew my subscription.

I've heard that complaint... but it's not accurate. Go back to your 6 issues and compare pages. It's usually closer to 50/50... sometimes a little more pin and sometime even more slanted toward vids. There is also an ole "EM" article or two thrown about... But to each his/her own. I love the mag... I just wish it came out WEEKLY... but I guess I can't have everything.

It's easily a 3 to 4 turd read... sometimes more.

I noticed the same thing when I first subscribed too, it seemed to be more about pins than vids. It seems to me that there has been a lot more vid content lately... or maybe the Pin stuff isn't standing out as much?

Either way, that to me is what the trial subscription is for, nothing wrong with the magazine not being someone's cup of tea, but anyone with an interest in the hobby should at least pick up the trial subscription...

This should help with the budget conscious: Enter the coupon code "VGEVO" during checkout to save $5 off a regular subscription to GameRoom Magazine.

Save money and support a great magazine dedicated to our fav. hobby.
