Gameroom Decor (gumball frame)

I'd guess its an Astro... and that candy looks YUMMY!
Score on there being money in it! That could pay for the machine or a good part of it!
Personally I'd try picking the lock if it was a single side tumbler style, but that would require a lock pick set. (which I lost my two important tools in mine so it is useless!)

When you're out there see what else she has, I might be interested in a couple if the price was right...

damn you all!! :D.. all these posts about gumball machines made me go get a couple.. found some Northwestern's - red and nothing too fancy, the top lock has been drilled (so no money in them), but they work 100% and look pretty good.

$20 each.. now, where can i get new locks and i have wall mounts for them, but would prefer a stand.. any design ideas?

Ya it looks like it's an Astro. I bet the candy tastes delicious hahah. I'm going to chrome or repaint the base or something to spiff it up. Could be fun to try and pick the lock myself. She does have a bunch of other stuff for sale, I'll find out tommorow for sure. I don't know if she has any more coinop stuff or not though..we'll see...

I found my "real" gumball machine!! It's not the candy red color I wanted, but it is pretty nice looking still.

I'm going to pick it up tommorow just outside of town. She says it still has a bunch of money in it because she doesn't have the keys. Any idea how I might get it open/get new keys. Just take it to a locksmith I suppose.

I paid 50 bucks Canadian for it.

Also anyone know much about the brand and year this might have been made?

Nice score Tom! Let me know what else she has ;)

Gumball machine is in the house. Needs a good cleaning and I have to get a key for it. Do you think they're all keyed differently? Could I maybe get a key from a gumball machine supplier? Or will I have to take it to a locksmith?

She had a couple old pinballs but she said she sold them already. Probably junk from the looks of her place haha
