Here is another update. Some befores followed by what is currently in the basement. The staircase is looking really good and so are the new bedrooms. We used to have baseboard heaters in all the upstairs rooms and a wall heater downstairs. They haven't been removed yet but we are using the new Carrier electric furnace and its pretty nice. Unfortunately, I am still having trouble getting to all my games. The Super Pac cocktail is covered in junk and the MAME is hiding behind it and the Raiden. Hopefully, next week, I will be able to reclaim my area. I will be painting the whole basement on my vacation (whenever that is).

The bathroom is now enclosed as is the "utility" room for the breaker box and water heater. They both have sheet rock hung now. It looks like all of that is done but they still have to "mud" it or whatever it is they do. The electrician still needs to come back as there is no light or switch and outlets in the bathroom. He also needs to install a couple of switches and some outlets in the other rooms as well. Overall, there is still a ton of work but the basement is getting close. The roof needs to be reshingled. All main floor windows are going to be replaced. Some minor foundation repair is also needed. If there is any money left on the loan, a chainlink fence will go in the backyard for the kids. The wife and I are paying for a new water heater (as the current one is nearly as classic as my games) to be put in after tax check time. I have to do some cabinet work to accomidate our stove as I am tired of using the 46 year old one that is currently in the kitchen. Its fugly, to say the least.
