Gameroom “Touches”

The DDII table used to be new york islanders. The POP! figurines have LEDs attached to their asses.
I have that exact Pepsi machine in a 7up. I have never seen it done in Pepsi. I have seen 7up, Dr. Pepper and RC Cola. I did see a Coca Cola once but not sure if it was original. The machine is made by Selectivend, it may say Cornelius on it as they bought Selectivend right around that time. Anyway it is a really cool machine. Looks great in Pepsi!!

The trading card piece is very cool. I also love the Toki poster. I have never seen that before.

The Toki piece is NOS side art professionally matted and framed. I love the artwork.

The trading card pice is just a DK red color painted piece of plywood with some printed graphics, trading cards and an actual cartridge at the bottom.

Thanks for noticing!

Not sure this hasn't been posted before. We have been working on the gameroom for a bit and had some cool/goofy touches that I thought I'd share and see if others had similar fun gameroom touches. I have posted the carpet and marquee bar before.

Margaret had this built for me for Christmas (Margaret is pretty cool). This holds our shot glasses. The maze is fairly accurate. My favorite xmas gift.

Also, needed a fire extinguisher but was able to get a vinyl label made . . .

What touches have others done?

That Pac man holding the shot glasses is awesome! Can they be bought?

Margaret convinced a friend of ours who builds cabinets to do it. I don't know if he'd do more. Maybe.

You know your stuff! It does say Cornelius I was about to post and make the correction lol. It's on 'freeplay' with a hidden switch but I rarely keep drinks in it. It's loud to run. Just have the marquee lit and the compressor disabled right now.

Simply stunning, the room steals the show from the arcades! Love the secret carcade masking too, great idea for adding a showroom.

What large scale figures are in this shot?

Distortions Unlimited saucerman, new BSG cylon, 2 Tremors shriekers, Slimer I think, and Mars Attacks martian in the distance.

I also went through nearly $40 in quarters and picked out all the quarters 1989 and older. I only have one machine I keep on quarter play just for fun.

I needed a storage area for all the remote controls that are in my arcade (TV, Firestick, Blu Ray, A/C, Audio, wireless gamepads for a RetroPie, etc.) and I've always wanted to mount a coin door in the wall so I decided to build a shallow "cubby" in the wall and use a coin door to conceal it. I even used a small strip of led's to light it up. It uses a magnetic cabinet door catch to latch closed.
