Not sure this hasn't been posted before. We have been working on the gameroom for a bit and had some cool/goofy touches that I thought I'd share and see if others had similar fun gameroom touches. I have posted the carpet and marquee bar before.

Margaret had this built for me for Christmas (Margaret is pretty cool). This holds our shot glasses. The maze is fairly accurate. My favorite xmas gift.

Also, needed a fire extinguisher but was able to get a vinyl label made . . .

What touches have others done?

What in the holy hell?! This blows away practically anything I've ever seen in a home setup. Absolutely incredible. More pics please! Would love to see a top down view of the bar as well. That's a brilliant idea as opposed to the standard "hang them all on a wall".

Thanks for the kind words guys. Definitely has been a project. The carpet is custom and cost pretty much the same as their stock carpets (they print them for you either way). They are 8 bit representations of scifi movies/stuff. 9 were done by an artist as a tshirt design and the other 9 I did myself.

We have been adding artwork and such recently, so getting there.

Wow. Very nice! Seeing things like this make me regret each and every day that I am in the house I MASSIVELY overpaid for ten years ago and have completely run out of space in. Would kill for room to set something up like that! Bravo!

This is really really a great idea. Did Margaret have the idea to superimpose the maze over a PAC-MAN? I honestly have never seen that idea before.
And the ghost glasses in the center? Killin it!

Also, your gameroom is beautiful! One of the best bars I have ever seen. You win the internets for today.

Love what your doing here I've been focusing on decorating my gameroom as well just added a working payphone. Looks nothing this nice though.

How/where did you get the Batman light??

It's the DC direct one from a few years back.

I think the idea was entirely hers. We have a friend who's a carpenter and it appeared on Christmas day as a complete amazing surprise.

Again, thank you for the kind words guys. The bar did not wind up that expensive. We had it built with essentially 3 layers. The bottom we did with LED ribbon ourselves. We put translucent plexi sl elevated over that and arranged the various marquees on it, then glass above. The edges of the bar are tiered to support each level. We used cork standoffs to help support the translucent plexi with the marquees atop.

Totally Freakin' Awesome!

Would be cool to see a whole wall done this this.

Great job.

:D

Awesome!

So many GREAT features in your arcade space....and like everyone else I love the 'G08 Repair Kit'! Your bar area is off the charts as well. So much attention to detail which is to me what makes a home arcade space FUN!

I always love to see the various forms of creativity on display in a home arcade - INSPIRING!!!

My glowing doorways and glowing drink coasters after all these years still make me smile.....
