For those who haven't seen it, GameFAQs is hosting a Game of the Decade contest here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/gotd

128 games from the past 10 years have been nominated and they're offering two different challenges. Anyone else entering just for shits? There are some tough choices in there and some possibilities for interesting "battles." It's all a popularity contest, of course, and I'm sure some will find ways to lean the results in their favor, but it's all in good fun, I suppose.

I'll admit, I had to take ICO vs Shadow of the Colossus in the Bracket Challenge, even though I know they likely won't make it that far, if they proceed at all. I still need to fill out the Battle Challenge, if I can get to it.

Where is the list of the 128 games?

Eternal Darkness should win, although it probably isn't even in the 128.

It's in there (against Diablo II int he first round). Go check the Bracket Challenge for the full list (you'll have to be logged in first). Perhaps another site has the full list documented, I'm not sure.

Shit, with all the people who played Diablo II and the handful of people who played Eternal Darkness, ED won't even survive the first round.

That's pretty much what I expect. Then again, ED has a cult following, much like Ico and SotC - but it might not be enough, especially with the hype of Diablo III right now. Some of the "battles" in there are just no-brainers, while others might actually be interesting to see what the split is.

To be honest, these tournaments are always big rpg gay-fests.Extremely rpg biased. You can have the best platformer,shoot-em up,or any other kind of genre except rpgs and have it go against the shittiest rpg and 9 out of 10 times the rpg will win.
