Gameday at the Vintage Vault Arcade

The biggest difference between your basement gameroom in mine are yours isn't junked up and your games work. Great room..

The posts on your bumper pool table light up????? Are my eyes seeing that correctly????? If so, AWESOME!!! Always enjoy seeing pics of your events.

They do indeed light up, much to my surprise. I didn't know they made them like that. I've been looking for a bumper pool table for a few years, and one popped up on Craigslist cheap with the description "needs electrical work". That confused me, but I jumped on the price. Not in the Craigslist description, was that this table was a 1956 Bally's Pin Pool coin op table. It accepts 2 dimes, and has lighted bumpers. I had to redo the wiring from scratch and replace half the bulbs but it was well worth it and has a nice ambience to it. It has become my 6 year olds favorite (the blond in the picture) and he enjoys beating any visitors. Its now also my oldest piece in the arcade. And since someone might ask, I paid $50 for it. It did not look that nice when I picked it up, they never do.

See, WIRED did a story on the wrong gameroom. THIS gameroom is what needs to be shown to the public on the news and blogs. You know, to show what this hobby is really about. Friends, community, and love for the game...and not alienating your significant other in the process. Someday I hope to have a setup a third as good as yours.

Can't echo this strongly enough. Outstanding work sir
