I had just gotten one of my grails last January and love it very much.
It's a Wizard of Wor Mini cabaret.
However I've been contemplating if I should trade it for the Upright version? Or should I just stick with the Caberet mini?

My cab is absolutely in great shape except for the CP art since it's the original, and I have to work on the the player 1 joys. (minor fix) I would not trade it for any game except if some one wanted do downsize their WOW to a mini or wanted a rare version, and obviously it would have to be in working order and equal condition. I want the UR version because of the artwork it displays. But the mini is cool because you don't always see one.

What would you do?

I'll take that mini off your hands if you don't want it.

All depends what you want. If you think the upright's cooler, and suits you better, go for it. If not, keep the mini.

I know my signature screams "guilty" that I would love a Wizard of Wor Mini, but I can only echo everyone else and say...

KEEP IT!

Would you get rid of your candy cab? No? Of course not. Yours is in great shape. In my eyes, Midway Minis are some of the best looking mini cabinets. They're incredibly close to the full upright experience!

Keep it. Minis of any kind are pretty tough to replace once you get past the top ten titles or so.

In this case the upright isn't too much bigger than the mini, at least depthwise. I have my upright next to my Mr. Do! cabaret and Asteroids cabaret. Tempting trade offer....

I've traded for 2 games so far this year.

I'm a loud and vocal mini fan, but minis aren't for the artwork fan segment of this hobby, and WOW UR side art is pretty damn cool.

I would definitely keep it. But I think you should trade it to a mini lover. ;)

I say keep the one you have. You already know YOUR machine, what works, what doesn't, no surprises. With a trade there is always that risk factor, sometimes its worth it others its not. In this case there is really not much gain because its the same game.

If you enjoy playing doubles... get the upright. I've had both versions and I still have our Ireland upright. :)
