Some of you can take responsibility for this, some can take credit for the inspiration, and others can simply blame gorfchampion. After seeing his basement and enjoying the games at his last party I decided it was time to finally finish my gameroom. I still have a few things left to complete but it has come a long way from the 70's brown paneled mess that it was when I bought it. It's not as large and full of gems as many posted but it's come a long way from a lone pin just a few short years ago.

The gameroom takes up about 20% of the basement - bar, home theater, bath, guest bedroom, and storage room eat the rest. And most importantly, yes that is a set of double-doors in the distance - the basement is indeed a walkout!

Some of the games shown are current projects and a few pins not pictured are stored awaiting both space and parts to complete them. The Sportsman was just recently acquired and I haven't had the chance to even clean it yet.

Comments Questions, and Suggestions welcome!

Lot of pins, gotta love it....Im doing my gameroom also. Looks good

Looks real cool down there. I like the paint job. Do you have any pics of the other half/ areas of the basement too? Possibly a walkthrough video on youtube would be sweet.

Two things I noticed that would help:

1. Clear the stuff out from under the pinballs. Find a good closet for 'em, cause they clutter the simplistic view of the row.

2. Possibly flank the row of pinballs on either side in the blank wall areas with some sort of framed art/ posters/ marquees/ graphics/ etc. Less is more with paint jobs like this, but I think you could pull something off in those two spots.

I like the color you chose for the walls; its unique and actually looks pretty cool! Just put some posters, flyers, or artwork on them and you will be all set!

Thanks for the great feedback so far - however I wouldn't say I'm "rich and making bank" but that's for another thread.

The paint is so fresh I'm still smelling the fumes. I have a few different ideas about what to hang in the empty spaces as suggested, I have some old pinball playfields that might work, I have a new backglass for flash and thought about framing the old one, and I have a bunch of promo plastics and a topper that would not fit on my cyclone that I considered arranging in a frame. I have yet to figure it out completely but I do have some ideas.

The clutter under the machines does need to find a new home - I didn't realize how bad it was and how fast spare parts accumulate. You never know when you might need that extra flipper assembly or driver board - I guess it's time to start sorting, selling and clearing some space in the storage room.

The next thing on the list is the flooring, I'm leaning toward black-light carpet tiles but it has to wait until I get some other home improvement projects that I promised the wife completed - and until I can save up enough 'bank'. When it's all completed I'll shoot a video of the first party I host and upload it for all to enjoy - I'll be really sure to get some nice footage of John "testing"...

looks like fun, your Mars PB makes me wonder how much the NOS glass backglass I got is worth;), I bought two from an operator, along with four project Mars PB's earlier this year, THEN I dropped one while loading them in the back of my Suburban, I could barely hold back the tears!

Nice work. I love that pin row. If you ever wanna sell that Paragon or the Devil's Dare, gimme me a ringy dingy.

Man, when I seen that first picture all I could think about was. " Ride The Farris Wheel !! " Nice looking Cylone..

Good looking setup! I really like the PPII sideart on the cockpit. Amazing how rare the PPII art is on any machine, lazy ops...

So what pin gets played the most? Simpsons?
