Game room paint colors: What would you choose?

I went with the Olympic 'rave regatta' dark blue in my gameroom (closest match to the Defender marquee blue I found). Looks cool in the daytime, and is plenty dark at night. Don't bother looking at the online sample though, it looks nothing like the real thing (which is very similar to TheShanMan's pic).

Here is one of my rooms before games....kinda like your first picture....

I'm with Phet on this one, mix it up! Plain wall colors can get boring, unless you have plenty of things to throw on the wall when you're done. Here are a few pics of what I threw together - 3 walls black with green stripe, doors painted to match and back wall painted solid green. Stairway was done almost a year later to tie into the room, and I'm still in the progress of cleaning and putting up the invaders.

Wow, nice collection of pins, man. I may have to drop by and check that out some day.

My walls are unpainted concrete. :( I need to decide if I am fine with that or if I want to paint them. To be honest I think I would put in a drop ceiling first. Damn those ducts!

check out this glow paint store, have you guys tried this stuff out??

I'm actually almost ready to paint my gameroom too. I looked at that stuff and then ended up getting a sample of the blue powder here: http://www.blacklightworld.com/Glow Paint Invisible Pigment.htm. I haven't tried it yet but I'd love to hear if anyone has used any of these types of products. Basically I'm going with a medium blue paint and I want to add just a subtle glow to it in the black lights (this is black light reactive vs. the glonation stuff which apparently isn't). So I figured I'd paint a small area of the wall, then apply the reactive powder suspended in clear coat paint. I have no idea how it'll turn out or if I'm taking the best approach. But should be interesting!

That's called Shockwave by Joy carpets. Cool stuff, that's what I'm laying in my arcade for sure.
I have Shockwave carpet with dark blue walls (matched to the Defender marquee), it looks fantastic!

When I installed it a few months ago, the dealer said it's about to be discontinued .. so you might not want to wait too long.

Solid colors are fine, but paint adjoining walls different colors, do a pattern, or stripes, or something. Whatever you do, don't go neutral. Boring.

+1
I have neutral all around, but one wall is painted red.
It's a big + for sure, I'm planning to paint more walls different colors too.

Damn! Some of you guys have huge basements. I have been thinking of painting my basement but part of it is football themed (Phila eagles-yes I am still a fan) and where I have the games adjoins that area (walls butt up to one another. So I can't go from green/silver/black to some wild arcade colors.
