Game of Thrones

I don't like it. The board is to limited by the upper play field part brining all the shots to like 1 foot from the flippers except a little bit on the right and all the shots are directly next to each other.

Go with the Pro. It's the best version for the dollars. The upper playfield on the Premium/LE is not integrated well. The Pro is a great shooting game with a deep ruleset.

pro is the better choice, rules are complicated (maybe too much so for casual players), shots are difficult - so its pretty good, but not enough there for me to want one
you may want to spend a bit of time on one before committing

I've been considering one eventually as well. It's a very, very deep game and the shots and modes are challenging. It's definitely a player's game; very difficult but not due to a short-sighted design flaw or incomplete coding.

The game isn't that interesting from a layout/shots perspective, but it has some of the best code ever, in my opinion. If you're a decent player who is willing to put in the time to learn a deep ruleset (whose basic components are pretty straightforward, but very deep and nuanced in how you choose to play through it), this game will last a long, long time in your collection.

But, if you just want to bat the ball around, Game of Thrones will be really unsatisfying.

Also, I vote for the pro as well. The upper playfield is not compelling, not well integrated, and mostly just blocks your view.

Agree mostly with the above. Even though the Pro is better than the LE/Premium, that doesn't mean it's good. The game literally has 6 main/close shot lanes, and that's it. Boring game to shoot, and without the interesting rules it would be a total clunker. My least favorite game in recent years. I can guarantee in short order you'd tire of backhanding the same ramp over and over, or hitting the same boring sequences over and over. GoT lacks the basic playfield interest that even many EMS have...

BTW, you could probably find HUO versions for much less than new, as people who on this realize they are bored with it. And the game will likely not be very worn at all.
