AbsolutelyI know the feeling all too well. Best feeling in the world seeing friends and family enjoying your creation.
Man, can you imagine having an uncle that had a basement full of games back in the 80s? I'd never want to leave!

It brings a tear to the eye.Had my nephew and niece over for pizza tonight. They were all on their iPhones playing games upstairs with my son and then I came up and said "hey guys, I turned on all the games!" I've never seen them move so fast to get down to the arcade. Had to snap a pic.

Then I asked, are you guys hungry? They said yes and proceeded to polish off two Bellatori's pizza's in the span of 15 minutes, then my wife made them a hotdish after that. I went to bed about 1030. They were still down there playing hide and seek with all the games off and just the black lights on.It brings a tear to the eye.
That's fucking awesome. Now I have had past teen parties in my arcade that had a lot more participants, but this is the first time anyone's been down there in months. So I was pretty excited.Awesome! We hosted the post-prom party a couple weeks back for my son and his friends. I fired up the arcade and thought it was great seeing them all in there playing in their suits and prom gowns!

AgreedIt's been a weird life for most kids today. But from what I've seen, most of them find an arcade and meeting up with friends pretty interesting still. At least when in measured doses. Don't expect your own kids and their friends to find your home arcade interesting over and over. After like 2 visits, the kids seem to be over it. It can't compete with the short attention span hipnotics of TikTok and social media. Hopefully some of them give that up in the long run. The world is better without it.
