Check this place out if you're in the area. I took a daytrip from Memphis today and the place is fantastic. 14 pinballs, 50 or so other machines? I stayed for about 5 hours with the wife and kid, dropped $60 or so and had a blast. I even bought a few NES games to take back. They have way more used games and better prices than the stores here. Anything from NES, SNES, N64, Sega, etc.

Would've stayed a lot longer, but the kid was getting too cranky :p. Not bad for a 6 hours of driving and 5 hours of gaming. Considering I come from an area that has a nascar pinball, and a few shooters @ puttputt. I was in heaven. Thanks for the awesome place and I'll be back. Here's a buncha crummy pics. The only bad part is the food court. Half of the places are gone, but it's not a deal breaker.

I want to take that Elvira machine home and the Whirlwind machine. Price check? And, yes, I like crummy NES games.

I hope they get a Mappy up there. I would've speant a lot of time on that one.

We appreciate the business though, this arcade was created so people could play games, there are some things I won't put on the floor but hopefully with the new place people will go because the area is a little better and you can stay later ;)

I feel so fortunate to live in a city with one of the few real game arcades remaining. I'm very much looking forward to checking out the new 2nd Game Galaxy location when it opens next month!

By the way mitchshaft, next time you come to Nashville there's a couple of other pinball locations around the city: Opryland Hotel has a Big Buck Hunter Pro and World Poker Tour, Grand Ol' Golf (mini golf located across the street from the Opryland Hotel) has a WWF Royal Rumble, and Pla-More Lanes Bowling Alley has a Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'll keep that in mind. I'd shit if there was a Pacman Battle Royale anywhere near. Also I see you guys have a skatepark. I might go by there one to and see if I can't break my neck .

TZ68: It's going to be at

2058 Gallatin Pike N
Madison, TN 37115

We started breaking the walls down inside, hours are going to be 12-9pm Monday-Thurs and 12-10pm Friday, 11-10pm Saturday, 12-7pm Sunday..

Hours subject to change if more people are there since we can stay open late....

We're putting 9 pinballs there initially, most of the good ones from Hickory Hollow (Guns, Sopranos, etc, as well as Black Rose from my garage....I have some really nice ones in my garage but I am too scared to bring the things because of the high maintenance these things take....

I was just here a few weeks ago and it rocked. First time in a long time I'd seen alot of classic games on location. I really got into the Tapper and Sinistar they had. Don't ask him to buy the machines though. They're a BIT pricey.

i often thought about opening a arcade here in oz.

but with the way things are , its almost impossible

we are over charged on electricity.
a new law was passed and every single damn item that uses a 240 plug into the wall we have to pay 50 bucks a year per plug via a certified electrician.
thats right , $50 per plug just to get a tag on it saying.. yeah its ok to use and safe.... its bs

do the sums and you can see that alone turns into a nasty piece of fees.

thats before we even get to the rip off real estate rentals.
we pay nearly 3 times more then the average American cdb store.

here in australia a store in the cbd would cost a staggering $5000 per week.

thumbs up for the pics , they were great :)

Well, if they aren't for sale and we're a retail location, can't fault me for that. I really don't want to sell Tapper or Sinistar. All of our other stuff is retail competitive. I would say we are cheaper than 95% of retail outlets...

They're supposedly opening August 1. What gets me pissed is the fact they ran us out of there and we could have been there this whole time..completely frustrating and ridiculous how they acted.....

Bride of Pinbot is staying at Hickory Hollow this time...it's never been here and the new location is very small, so we're trying to manage machines...if the pins do REALLY well there, we'll add more, but it's basically an 8 month trial there...if we do ok, we stay permanent, if not, we leave...

That is awesome. I see a Haunted Castle in the second pic. Looks like a fun place. Wish we had something like that here in the Twin Cities.
