I don't think there is a better 'death' sound in a game than wacko.

I have the volume pumped up loud just so when I die I can hear that sound. Awesome death sound.

Around the 1:13 mark is Legend Of Hero Tonma, the side scroller and Dead Angle, the 3D shooter type game.
For some reason they put the computer game Barbarian in there at around the 1:28 mark.
