I have a 1st generation w/ box and a few games most of them all in the box. I can remember off of the top of my head Mortal Kombat, Williams Collection and a few others.. I got to dig it out but I don't know the value of these off-hand atm. Thoughts?

They aren't really worth anything.

I bought a lot a few years back on eBay that came with two boxed systems and a few games for around $20.

I think they are pretty neat, but that doesn't count for much :p

Seems like a lot of the portable stuff, especially the B&W games, don't have nearly the same value as console games.

They are shit, but then again most were probably tossed. I would say hold on to it another 10 years and it will be worth something.

Good to know. It the storage box they will remain and I'll bump this thread up in the next 10 years ;)

No.

They had some big name titles (Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, Sonic, Duke Nukem), but couldn't compete with the GameBoy. I had a couple a few years back. I played it while I had it. I think it had solitaire built in or something. I probably played that more than the actual games.

The screen was so bad and the framerate was horrendous.

I bought one when they first came out - no idea why. I too played the solitaire more than anything else...that and Lights Out. I had a lot of games for it like Duke Nukem and Resident Evil...all were terrible. I did like the idea of two game slots, though.

Years later I bought one of the 'pocket' versions of ebay for cheap. I thought it was the backlit version, but it wasn't, so it never got used. Both are in storage someplace.
