Gambling raid nets two pinball bingos

thank god! those dangerous and dastardly felons are behind bars.
i will sleep better now knowing that the streets are safe from bingo pinball.
note to police, how about fighting some real crime,if you don't know what that is,here is a list. rapists, child predators, gang bangers, litter bugs, celebrities that don't wear underwear, and people who talk in movie theaters.

I always love that excuse "why go after criminals like me, go after the other criminals".

The simple fact is that Bingo pinballs are pure gambling machines that make no attempt to hide it. I assume that the other 59 machines that were confiscated in the raids were slots or video poker machines. The only reason pinballs were even mentioned in the articles, likely, is that most people don't know the difference between a flipper and a bingo. But it doesn't seem like they went in there just to snag these two machines.

I agree, but what if the games were set up for "amusement only", i.e. there were no payouts going on? I'm not sure if that would or should make a difference, but the question crossed my mind. Of course, if you are running other gambling devices, then the goose gets raided with the gander, so likely it wasn't even a thought on their minds. Or, the opposite - they may have considered them harmless, but if they had not also taken them, people would have criticized them. "Why'd you take all those *other* gambling machines but not these?"
