I'm getting close to un-doing all the devastation that a previous owner did on my Gallag wiring harness, and all that's left is the 44pin PCB connector.
But I'm just not 100% sure how the ground pins are handled. The current connector is a solder-type, and all the ground pins are soldered to each other in various combinations of bent over, blob soldered, and occasionally wire jumpered, in order to make sure ALL the ground pins are connected to each other.
Is this really necessary? Do all these pins need to be grounded? or are they just available grounds for switches/buttons? The guy that did this work was an obvious idiot, judging by other bad work that was done, so I'm not sure I can trust it.
Anybody have a Gallag wired up that a can snap a photo of the PCB connector on the harness?
