Galaxy Blue Arcade dedicates New Wing

Thanks guys, it is hard to get a good pic of everything as the room isn't very big, but you get the idea. Being in there makes me smile. I have tested the walls under a blacklight and they look pretty sweet. Can't wait to get those installed. I love Space Mountain.

2. You need space furniture now. Get rid of the country-style dining table.

This is what you need :)

Very nice. Those games are all pretty cool too.

I need to expand my arcade again.

Your arcade is on stilts and hangs over a cliff overlooking LA. Can't get much cooler than that. I really need to steal Alan's 'Tranquility Base' barstools now. Perhaps he can send me a few stool samples to help me make my decision.

I have been thinking about purchasing a star field projector for the ceiling. They are like $160 though, so I will be waiting on that.

Looks great, Phet. Last year I purchased a star field projector for $99 at a Spencer's and am very happy with the quality. I just checked their website and they have the same model for the same price.

Do you like it Jim? How well does it complete the illusion? How big will it project without losing quality?

Fantastic work as always, Phet! I chubbed up looking at these pics! I saw an episode of "Garagemahal" on HGTV (or some other "home" channel) a few months ago where they installed fiber optic lights in the ceiling, it was time consuming but it looked freakin' sweet when it was done. I have no idea what that would cost though. Again, awesome room!

The Space room is so awesome, very inspiring! It's very rare that I see home arcades that don't look like games in a house. This looks like a photo out of an 80's arcade magazine. How did you do the black dashes? Stencils?

Hey thanks. Yeah I kinda really had to commit to this one. They are actually green dashes on a black paint stripe. The green dashes are made from a roll of self adhesive wallpaper stripes that I cut in 9 inch sections and spaced out on the wall 4.5". I also rolled glow in the dark paint on the stripe before cutting it, so they glow under a blacklight.

Phet,

If Alan cant help you out, let me know. I'm sure I can send something.

That looks really cool!

Thanks. And Jow, I'll PM you my address. And Thank the Good Lord I finally found a good spot for my Vectrex. It's going between the Mario Bros and the Qbert on the 12 inch deep shelf that runs along the wall behind the games. You can see the stool there where you can swivel from Qbert to the Vectrex. Pretty sweet.
