Does anyone know the wire color codes on a original Galaxian harness, for the monitor plug? I need wire colors for RGB & Sync....

Ken, what can I say...you're the man. I was struggling a bit as I needed to remove a problematic 4600 series and install a 4900 series and was having a bit of difficulty. This will fix me up.

Thanks again!

Not sure what the difficulty was. The connector to the K4600 will plug right into the K4900 with no modifications.

Something to know, though, is that - if you are using negative composite sync - you might not be able to get it to sync properly. if that is the case, remove the negative vertical sync wire....

I thought the same thing, but I now have found out that the various 4600 daughtercards have different input pin positions, and hence I need to move pins in the plug for the 4900. What I may be finding out though...I was having problems with the 4600 vertical hold after a couple of weeks use from a cap kit... I think Galaxian is neg sync, not sure on composite, but Fromm's flowchart says not to jumper pins 2&3, only three. I know the input plug had two sync wires...that may now be the fix to my original vertical hold/sync problem.

This forum, as well as people like you and Ken, have helped me a great deal, not to mention a bit of education to take with me....
