HELP!
Does anyone have a Galaxian with a G07 in it that can point me in the right direction?
I pulled the original PIECE OF SHIT K4500 out of it, and I dropped a nice 100% tested working G07 in.
I can't for the LIFE OF ME figure out out how to hook up the video wires. There are 5 video wires coming from the game.....
Orange
Red
White
Yellow
Green

I have connected them per the manual in the following order.
O to pin 6, R to pin 4, W to pin1, Y to pin 2, G to pin5

So I have done this and get a color inverted blue scrolling image.......
Where am I going wrong here?

Thanks Ken!
I'm getting closer. Actually its page 77 that is the biggest help.....
Per pg 77 I now have the following:
White to pin 2
Yellow to pin 3
Red to pin 1
Green to pin 4
Orange to pin 5
Orange to pin 6
Now it looks close, but it just won't sync properly.
Adjusting the sync pot I can get it close, but it just won't lock in....
Should orange go to pin 5, THEN then jumper over to 6, per pg 77?
Right now I have orange split to 5 &6
Not sure why that would make any difference right?

BOOOOYA!
Well it APPEARS that it won't work with a G07 with the sync upgrade!?
I dropped an chassis in it with NO sync upgrade, and it locked right in!!
Now the bigger question is WHY won't it work with the sync upgrade?

I did this same thing with a Galaxian cab I had. And this was after spending around $60.00 in parts and countless hours trying to get the dang K4500 looking good.
How did you do yours? I took the tube of the G07 and put it into the frame of the K4500 and even mounted the chassis sideways, just like the K4500 was. Worked out nicely.
I haven't done the sync upgrade on any of my G07s; have no idea why it would cause the issue you had. But congrats on getting her sorted.

Haha....yeah I shit canned that 4500, I'm decent with a monitor but there was no way I was going to spend the time/money on that thing. Christ there was 50 pots on it. I did rejuv the tube on it and it made a difference. But at the end of the day it just wasn't worth it.
I happened to have a G07 that came out of a Galaxian I'm guessing?? It had the same wooden frame on it... I just dropped it in...... maybe I should save the wood/frame before I send the 4500 tube down the rd????

I think that Galaxian has different sync. The sync upgrade mod to the G07 is for using the monitor with negative sync.

So it's possible Galaxian was positive sync.

Possibley, I don't UNDERSTAND what is going on with the thing....
BUT, some did come stock with a G07 correct? So was the connector in those models set up from the factory to fit a G07?

I'm not so sure this is totally resolved...this the is the BEST I can get this image to display on the chasis/tube...
note the image will not shift any more down, or to the left....
Keep in mind when this tube/chasis is hooked up to a my test pacman, the image is PERFECT....

Long shot here but I was just reading the monitor help sticky and found this. Perhaps it could be the problem?

"Won't sync well to negative sync, but works fine on positive?

You're going to like this one... Check resistors R314 and R317. They're supposed to be 390 ohms. At some point, Electrohome goofed and fitted 4.7k's here. These only affect the negativ sync circuits, not positive. So if the monitor was used in a positive sync game, this problem would never have presented itself."
